EJ-3

The big guitar with a big sound. The grand daddy of all jumbos in the Maestro family. Like its Grand-Auditorium and dreadnought counterparts, the EJ-3 comes in solid red cedar top, giving you that exceptional strong tone that you are looking for. The jumbo shape delivers that deep baritone backdrop without comprising on the clarity of the highs. For the big-hearted player.

Reviews

"The EJ series Maestro cutaway jumbo steel-string that I use is a good example of value for money. The cedar top, which is unusual in a moderately-priced guitar, gives a warm tone good bass/mid/treble balance. The neck, which is not unlike the Gibson J series, is nicely contoured and suitable for players with small hands. Overall a good buy."

"It sounded real BIG and the sound was what I expected, very robust, rich, still clear. Intonation was perfect and string action low without buzzing even when I banged on it with strong strumming strokes. Plucking on it was a breeze even though they were strung with light gauge strings (0.012") whereby I was more used to the x-light gauge strings (0.010"). Projection seemed effortless even with the lightest touch."
